Garrin Apt vs Treffen Sandfort

Boxing Daily Report from the Kaiser promoted show at Amo Pecher Gym, Lubeck,  taking place on 30/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Garrin Apt (0 - 0) who hails from Bochum, Germany and Treffen Sandfort(0 - 7(2) - 3) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Apt and Sandfort weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnaldo Samson, and the three ringside judges are Sigiwald Schaben, Webber Maixner and Rolt Abeln.  

Round 1: 

Apt steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Apt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sandfort dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sandfort's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sandfort's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Sandfort's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
