Xavier Tesoro vs Eduardo Banegas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Posa, Acapulco,  taking place on 25/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Guerrero Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Tesoro (17 - 0) who hails from Chipancingo, Mexico and Eduardo Banegas(9 - 4) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Tesoro weighed in at 140 pounds, while Banegas weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Sancho, and the three ringside judges are Fidel Molina, Joaquin Gracia and Joaquin Gracia.
