Roger Bermudez vs Paul Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at San Antonio Dudgeon, San Antonio,  taking place on 25/01/2027:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roger Bermudez (8 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Dallas, USA and Paul Owen(10 - 11(1) - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Bermudez and Owen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Crum, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Rasul, Michael Toste and Mark Marrufo.  

Round 1: 

Bermudez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Owen closes the distance.  Bermudez lands a right hook.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Bermudez.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
