Angel Lares vs Joaquin Montesino

Boxing Daily Report from the Players Only promoted show at Mexico City Rita, Mexico City,  taking place on 26/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Lares (7 - 4) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Joaquin Montesino(7 - 5 - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Lares and Montesino weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Villarroel, and the three ringside judges are Aimon Campillo, Xavion Borra and Aimon Campillo.
