Chris Kechere vs Thompson Imasuen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ifeanyi Isola Gym, Offa,  taking place on 27/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Kechere (5 - 9) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Thompson Imasuen(8 - 7 - 4) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Kechere weighed in at 235 pounds and 14 ounces, while Imasuen weighed in at 240 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rabiu Udoobong, and the three ringside judges are Kamran Kalil, Tunde Balogun and Ikechukwu Chukwuemeka.

Kechere sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Imasuen is on target with a left hook.  Imasuen attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kechere time to recover.  
Imasuen tries to keep the action at long range.  Imasuen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kechere to the neutral corner.  He warns Imasuen to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Imasuen is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Imasuen lands with a stiff jab.

Kechere lands a right hook.
