Orji Ilerika vs David Adewale

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Osun State promoted show at Osogbo Oshonaike, Osogbo,  taking place on 25/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Osun State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orji Ilerika (16 - 4) who hails from Ife, Nigeria and David Adewale(6 - 2 - 3) from Ilesa, Nigeria.  Both Ilerika and Adewale weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Godfrey Nduka, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Laham, Izunna Adamu and Mudashiru Ebor.  

Round 1: 

Ilerika closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
