Faisal Alfayed vs Haaris Tabet

Boxing Daily Report from the Mayat Promotions promoted show at Medina Bukhari, Medina,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

Clearly Mayat Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia-West Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faisal Alfayed (8 - 8 - 5) who hails from Mecca, Saudi Arabia and Haaris Tabet(5 - 7 - 6) from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Both Alfayed and Tabet weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sajid Alnaqbi, and the three ringside judges are Asif Betro, Syed Farha and Zafa Yared.  

Round 1: 

Alfayed wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tabet dabs at his face checking for damage.
