Mikio Furuya vs Jack Logie

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama,  taking place on 27/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Youth Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikio Furuya (21(12) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Jack Logie(15(4) - 8(3)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Furuya weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Logie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Uchiyama, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Furutani, Jiro Tsukamoto and Kyo Okamura.  

Round 1: 

Furuya is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Logie lands a spiteful jab.

As they grapple, Logie pushes his forearm into Furuya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Logie about fouling.  Furuya tries to land a left uppercut, but Logie slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Furuya lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS LOGIE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  Logie almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Furuya lands with a ramrod jab.  
Logie steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Furuya parries the shot and counters with a forceful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE LOGIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Logie quickly recovers. 
Logie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Furuya steps away from his opponent and hits home with a ramrod jab.  Furuya tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Furuya lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS LOGIE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Furuya!
