Demoritus Mona vs Hercules Ballas

Boxing Daily Report from the Athens Boxing Club promoted show at Athens Loukas, Athens,  taking place on 30/01/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece-Attica Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Demoritus Mona (4 - 6 - 6) who hails from Athens, Greece and Hercules Ballas(8 - 5 - 4) from Athens, Greece.  Both Mona and Ballas weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Panos Manos, and the three ringside judges are Agamemnon Hondros, Telephus Carras and Lichas Katsaros.  

Round 1: 

Mona quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ballas connects with a cross.  
Mona gets on the inside.  Ballas lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ballas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mona lands a left uppercut.  
Ballas tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Ballas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mona is on target with a left uppercut.

Ballas leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mona accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ballas.
