Angel Saiz vs Santiago Ascencio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Castilla y Leon promoted show at Valladolid Matalon, Valladolid,  taking place on 30/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Castilla y Leon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Saiz (16 - 0 - 1) who hails from Valladolid, Spain and Santiago Ascencio(17 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Valladolid, Spain.  Both Saiz and Ascencio weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Mellado, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Maez, Carlos Jorge and Diego Mellado.
