Dave Chigumbura vs Clinton Tshamala

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Mnangagwa, Harare,  taking place on 03/01/2027:

Clearly Harare Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Chigumbura (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Clinton Tshamala(3 - 5 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Chigumbura and Tshamala weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Chung, and the three ringside judges are Richie Mujuru, Michael Mangwende and Joey Mbara.  

Round 1: 

Tshamala manages to force Chigumbura onto the ropes.  Tshamala attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Chigumbura's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Chigumbura tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tshamala connects with an overhand right.
