Abdul Majid vs Yasin Samara

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 22/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Majid (8 - 9 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Yasin Samara(4 - 0) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Majid and Samara weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Hassan, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Hossain, Saad Hassan and Farhan Younis.  

Round 1: 

Samara lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Samara cuts off the ring, trapping Majid on the ropes.  Samara lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Majid tries to land a left uppercut, but Samara blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.
