Turgay Arikan vs Ata Namik

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Poyraz, Istanbul,  taking place on 01/02/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Istanbul Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Turgay Arikan (13 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Ata Namik(8 - 5 - 2) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Arikan weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces, while Namik weighed in at 175 pounds.    As Arikan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ahmet Ozbilen, and the three ringside judges are Duygu Cerci, Tunc Urfali and Alp Baykal.
