Zach Mbara vs Michael Kathrada

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Morris Depot Police Camp, Harare,  taking place on 06/03/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zach Mbara (17(2) - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Michael Kathrada(13 - 9 - 2) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Both Mbara and Kathrada weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Aulds, and the three ringside judges are Jack Feamster, Peabo Chikwava and John Takawira.
