Theo Vermeulen vs Duante Makwarimba

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Chitungwiza Jaure, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 01/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Theo Vermeulen (20(2) - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Duante Makwarimba(17(1) - 6(1)) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Vermeulen weighed in at 135 pounds, while Makwarimba weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quintavius Mubako, and the three ringside judges are James Mupariwa, Dillon Mutasa and Michael Chipeta.
