Louis Ellis vs Danny Nicholson

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, Stockton,  taking place on 03/02/2027:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Ellis (5 - 0) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Danny Nicholson(3 - 5(1) - 3) from Fontana, USA.  Both Ellis and Nicholson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Vaughn, and the three ringside judges are John Gourley, Seth Coria and Peter Look.  

Round 1: 

Nicholson steps inside.  Ellis throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Ellis ties up his opponent.  Ellis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Ellis pushes his forearm into Nicholson's face.  The ref breaks Ellis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
