Dong-won Sung vs Young-cheol Bai

Boxing Daily Report from the Howe Out promoted show at Kyungpook National University Global Plaza, Daegu,  taking place on 29/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Korea Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dong-won Sung (7(5) - 0) who hails from Iksan, South Korea and Young-cheol Bai(16 - 7(7)) from Gwangju, South Korea.  Both Sung and Bai weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sun-tae Oh, and the three ringside judges are Sung-ryong Yoh, Seung-gyu Soh and Min-hyeok Choo.  

Round 1: 

Bai closes the distance and drives a right hook into Sung's ribcage.  
Bai is looking to close the distance.  Sung lands a solid left uppercut.  Sung ties up his opponent.  Bai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sung attempts to land a left hook, but Bai parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Sung lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sung hits home with a firm right hook.  
Bai lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Sung holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Bai pushes his forearm into Sung's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bai to stop fouling.  
Bai manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Bai lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Bai is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sung lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bai gets on the inside.  Bai pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Sung throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sung lands a stinging right hook.  
Sung lands a jab.  
Bai lands a ramrod jab.  Bai tries to land a jab, but Sung blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bai gets on the inside.  Bai pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bai digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Bai throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a mean right uppercut.  BAI IS HURT!  Bai recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bai attempts to land a jab, but Sung sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Sung hits home with a firm cross.  
Bai gets on the inside.  Bai pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a ramrod jab.  Sung throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sung's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sung tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sung tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stiff jab.  Sung tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sung drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Bai lands a cross.  
Bai advances into close range.  Bai pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  As Bai tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sung dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bai attempts to land a left hook, but Sung slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bai walks Sung down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sung stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sung connects with a FIERCE right hook.  BAI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Sung lands a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut.  BAI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Bai has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Sung lands a DEVASTATING overhand right.  BAI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE BAI THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sung!
