Xayvion Sowah vs Laken Chikunga

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Green Point Athletics Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 13/02/2027:

Clearly African Fusion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xayvion Sowah (12(2) - 0) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Laken Chikunga(14(1) - 7 - 4) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Both Sowah and Chikunga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kasi Hlatshwayo, and the three ringside judges are Runako Mashaba, Bongi Rantie and La Vonn Dorkenoo.
