Michael Twala vs Tefu Zokwana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Dokuaa, Soweto,  taking place on 08/02/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Twala (10 - 10(1) - 4) who hails from Mamelodi, South Africa and Tefu Zokwana(14 - 9 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Twala weighed in at 200 pounds, while Zokwana weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Oosthuizen, and the three ringside judges are William Ekstein, Tokelo Motupa and Kyrone Letsholonyane.

As Twala tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zokwana dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Twala pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zokwana hits home with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Twala.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
