Banji Shikwati vs Tamarius Mayaba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Lusaka promoted show at Lusaka Hangombe, Lusaka,  taking place on 10/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Banji Shikwati (16 - 7 - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Tamarius Mayaba(14 - 9) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Shikwati weighed in at 237 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mayaba weighed in at 238 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shevon Sekani, and the three ringside judges are Onaedo Sampa, Floyd Mubu and Voshon Mangande.
