Akira Nakamura vs Xin Jia

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Ariake Coliseum, Tokyo,  taking place on 27/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Akira Nakamura (16 - 3(2)) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Xin Jia(12 - 7(1) - 1) from Shenyang, China.  Both Nakamura and Jia weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Mizuno, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Noda, Ichiro Tsukamoto and Hiroki Aoyama.  

Round 1: 

Nakamura closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.
