Ben Inzikuru vs Rich Paterson

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Tower Theatre, Fresno,  taking place on 12/02/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Inzikuru (6(4) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Rich Paterson(1 - 3 - 1) from St. Petersburg, USA.  Inzikuru weighed in at 244 pounds and 4 ounces, while Paterson weighed in at 225 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Thornton, and the three ringside judges are Joel Richard, George Mattison and Ian Richie.  

Round 1: 

Inzikuru lands a solid cross.

Inzikuru gets on the inside.  Inzikuru pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Inzikuru wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Paterson dabs at his face checking for damage.
