Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Jenny Craig Pavilion, San Diego,  taking place on 10/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Lights Out Blair (22(17) - 0) who hails from Oakland, USA and Dmitar Matijaševic(21(1) - 1(1)) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Both Blair and Matijaševic weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Fortun, and the three ringside judges are Josh Butchart, Waleed Naqvi and Kenzie Bryce.

Matijaševic quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.

Matijaševic manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Blair knows Matijaševic is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Blair lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES MATIJAŠEVIC!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Matijaševic has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
