Elias Barcena vs Seferino Marciel

Boxing Daily Report from the Tuffuor Promotions promoted show at Cali Toca, Cali,  taking place on 13/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Barcena (6 - 12 - 3) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Seferino Marciel(7 - 5 - 4) from Cali, Colombia.  Both Barcena and Marciel weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Salvatierra, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Paredes, Alejandro Gordon and Fraco Alvaro.  

Round 1: 

Barcena is looking to keep his distance.  Marciel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Barcena closes the distance and lands a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Marciel.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
