Akira Yamazaki vs Mikio Kawahara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Sekiguchi, Tokyo,  taking place on 13/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Yamazaki (8 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Mikio Kawahara(6 - 3 - 7) from Tokyo, Japan.  Yamazaki weighed in at 114 pounds and 5 ounces, while Kawahara weighed in at 114 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Tsukamoto, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Abe, Yuji Mihara and Hiroki Aoyama.
