Diego Caram vs Dom Burton

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 31/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Diego Caram (1 - 0) who hails from Tonala, Mexico and Dom Burton(2 - 3 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Caram and Burton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Maguire, and the three ringside judges are David Priddy, Brendan Beddoe and Steve Parry.  

Round 1: 

Caram lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Caram sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Caram dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Caram throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Caram pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Caram is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Burton's body.  
Caram is on target with a right hook to Burton's body.

Burton throws a left hook, but Caram clinches his opponent.  Caram leans on his opponent using all his weight. Caram uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Burton behind the head. 
Caram lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caram closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Caram gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Caram lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Burton walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Caram tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Caram lands a right hook.  
Burton pivots from in front of his opponent.  Burton throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Caram time to recover.  
Caram sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Burton closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Caram hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Burton's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Burton's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
