Joaquin Negron vs Jose Reta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at Soyapango Orrantia, Soyapango,  taking place on 18/01/2027:

Clearly AI El Salvador-San Salvador have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador-San Salvador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Negron (4 - 7 - 2) who hails from San Salvador, El Salvador and Jose Reta(13 - 5 - 1) from Apopa, El Salvador.  Both Negron and Reta weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neron Chacon, and the three ringside judges are Neron Chacon, Rio Floro and Salvador Sanchez.  

Round 1: 

Reta walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Reta pivots to the right of his opponent.  Reta lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Reta holds on to his opponent. Negron throws a left uppercut, but Reta clinches his opponent.  Reta is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Reta tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Negron behind the head. 
Reta lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Reta closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Reta manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Reta lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
