Sagaz Echevarria vs Nico Pagliuzzi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Empire City Casino, Yonkers,  taking place on 13/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sagaz Echevarria (26(17) - 0) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Nico Pagliuzzi(17 - 6(2) - 4) from Bologna, Italy.  Both Echevarria and Pagliuzzi weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Leask, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Pizzinato, Chris Chisolm and Richard Sateriale.  

Round 1: 

Echevarria is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pagliuzzi pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Echevarria steps to the outside.  Pagliuzzi is on target with a jab.  
Echevarria lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Echevarria is looking to close the distance.  Pagliuzzi connects with a left hook.  Pagliuzzi throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Pagliuzzi's ribs.
