Valentino Berselli vs Roberto Berlato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Apulia promoted show at Valerio Rugani Gym, Tarant,  taking place on 22/01/2027:

Clearly AI Italy-Apulia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Apulia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentino Berselli (8 - 11 - 2) who hails from Foggia, Italy and Roberto Berlato(4 - 4 - 5) from Bari, Italy.  Both Berselli and Berlato weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gianluca Menia, and the three ringside judges are Mauro Verratti, Luca De Silvestri and Dante Alboni.  

Round 1: 

Berselli advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Berlato gets on the inside.  Berselli connects with a left hook.  
Berselli hits home with a right uppercut.  
Berlato lands a jab.  
Berlato sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Berselli digs in a left hook to Berlato's ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Berselli dabs at his face checking for damage.
