Edmondo Di Fonzo vs Gianluigi Asaro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Campania promoted show at Naples Tardelli, Naples,  taking place on 19/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Campania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmondo Di Fonzo (14 - 3 - 1) who hails from Naples, Italy and Gianluigi Asaro(17 - 1(1)) from Naples, Italy.  Both Di Fonzo and Asaro weighed in at 147 pounds.
