Mario Di Francesco vs Alessio Scalia

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyan Promotions promoted show at Catania Pesce, Catania,  taking place on 19/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mario Di Francesco (5 - 9 - 7) who hails from Messina, Italy and Alessio Scalia(4 - 11 - 1) from Catania, Italy.  Both Di Francesco and Scalia weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cristiano Donadoni, and the three ringside judges are Vicenzo Strano, Cristiano Donadoni and Savio Trapattoni.  

Round 1: 

Scalia walks Di Francesco onto the ropes.  Di Francesco drives a right hook into Scalia's ribcage.  
Di Francesco switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Scalia tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.
