Hajime Maki vs Mitsuru Eto

Boxing Daily Report from the Shungwa Promotions promoted show at Goro Chiba Gym, Funabashi,  taking place on 20/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Maki (5 - 12(1) - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Matsudo, Japan and Mitsuru Eto(7 - 9(1) - 7) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Maki weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Eto weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Ozaki, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Nakanishi, Hiro Ueno and Akira Kamei.

Eto leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Maki steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
