Yuichi Takai vs Hisoka Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Yuji Taguchi Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 20/02/2027:

Clearly Koranteng Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yuichi Takai (7 - 12 - 6) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hisoka Matsumoto(4 - 11 - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Takai and Matsumoto weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Kawabata, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sera, Kyo Kawabata and Ryuu Ogawa.  

Round 1: 

Takai gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Matsumoto lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Matsumoto attempts to land a jab, but Takai blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Takai gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but Matsumoto dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Takai is on target with a left hook.  As Matsumoto tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takai dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Takai steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Matsumoto's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Takai walks Matsumoto into the blue corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Matsumoto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Takai's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Matsumoto's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
