Richie Mwahima vs Jamie Motego

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 25/01/2027:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Mwahima (1 - 6) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Jamie Motego(3 - 14 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Mwahima and Motego weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Keino, and the three ringside judges are Dembe Mutunga, Robert Perlo and Joey Keino.

Mwahima is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Mwahima steps to the outside and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Motego closes the distance.  Motego sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mwahima tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mwahima is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.
