Xavier Montellano vs Montel Molinar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Montejano, Ecatepec,  taking place on 23/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavier Montellano (17 - 8 - 3) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Montel Molinar(15 - 6 - 3) from Torreon, Mexico.  Montellano weighed in at 108 pounds, while Molinar weighed in at 107 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sierra Zorrilla, and the three ringside judges are Federico Villegas, Felippe Minier and Berto Calles.
