Carlos Colmenero vs Alejandro Chavis

Boxing Daily Report from the Mahlangu Promotions promoted show at Carlos Merlos Gym, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 23/02/2027:

Clearly Mahlangu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Colmenero (11 - 6 - 2) who hails from Soledad de Graciano Sanchez, Mexico and Alejandro Chavis(7 - 11 - 1) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Both Colmenero and Chavis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Fosco, and the three ringside judges are Neron Valdez, Diego Anzures and Vicente Villalpando.
