Baariq Eljanaby vs Hilel Zaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Chunga Promotions promoted show at El Houari Benchetrit Gym, Casablanca,  taking place on 23/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Grand Casablanca Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Baariq Eljanaby (8 - 4 - 4) who hails from Mohammedia, Morocco and Hilel Zaki(9(1) - 3) from Casablanca, Morocco.  Both Eljanaby and Zaki weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sufyan Tahar, and the three ringside judges are Aatif Hakmoun, Sufyan Tahar and Saad Ayub.  

Round 1: 

Zaki is looking to close the distance.  Eljanaby tries to land a left uppercut, but Zaki sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Zaki manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Zaki lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zaki attempts to land a left hook, but Eljanaby blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zaki lands two right hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Zaki finds the target with a stiff jab.
