Wu-pen Canh vs Ismet Gadjarov

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Ganja State Concert Hall, Ganja,  taking place on 07/03/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wu-pen Canh (15(9) - 1) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Ismet Gadjarov(7 - 7 - 2) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Canh and Gadjarov weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aqil Sheikh, and the three ringside judges are Fazail Sala, Ramil Molla and Mehdi Maharramov.  

Round 1: 

Canh steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gadjarov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Canh lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gadjarov is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Canh connects with an overhand right.  
Canh throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gadjarov switches the action to the outside.  Canh lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Canh gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Canh lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Canh steps inside and is on target with a sharp right hook to Gadjarov's body.  
Canh closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Canh digs in a right hook to Gadjarov's ribcage.  Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Canh forces Gadjarov to back into the corner.  Canh lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Canh lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gadjarov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Canh cuts off the ring, trapping Gadjarov in the corner.  Canh is on target with a left hook.  
Canh steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Canh pushes his forearm into Gadjarov's face.  The referee warns Canh and breaks the clinch.  
Canh lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Canh ties up his opponent.  Canh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Canh lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Canh lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gadjarov steps away from his opponent.  Canh lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gadjarov's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Gadjarov's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Canh is on target with a right hook to Gadjarov's ribs.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  Canh leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Canh drives a stinging right hook into Gadjarov's body.  
Gadjarov steps away from his opponent.  Canh throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Canh lands a cross.  
Canh lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gadjarov almost instantly recovers. 
Canh lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Canh lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Canh tries to land a left hook, but Gadjarov blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Canh advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Canh is on target with a left uppercut to Gadjarov's body.  
Canh lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS GADJAROV!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Canh pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gadjarov lands a jab.  Gadjarov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gadjarov's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Canh lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Canh lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Gadjarov's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Canh to stop fouling.  
Canh sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Gadjarov's body.  
Gadjarov tries to keep the action at long range.  Canh feints a jab, tricking Gadjarov into throwing a cross counter.  Canh avoids the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Canh lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Canh hits home with a left hook.  Canh ties up his opponent.  Canh pushes his forearm into Gadjarov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Canh about fouling.  
Canh lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Gadjarov switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Canh could be enough to finish Gadjarov!  Canh lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS GADJAROV DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Gadjarov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Canh tries to land a cross, but Gadjarov dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
