Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ray Stokes Hall, Christchurch,  taking place on 24/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Costain (15(4) - 4 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Sam Stirton(10(1) - 1 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Costain and Stirton weighed in at 168 pounds.
