Ovidio Valle vs Jax Cuevas

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Gimnasio Usos Multiples UdeG, Guadalajara,  taking place on 27/02/2027:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Azteca, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Valle (10 - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Jax Cuevas(3 - 2 - 1) from Juarez, Mexico.  Both Valle and Cuevas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Hinojosa, and the three ringside judges are Macario Floro, Enzo Hinojosa and Isidro Martinez.  

Round 1: 

Valle lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Valle closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
