Denton Messer vs Alec Pettigrew

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at La Villita Maverick Plaza, San Antonio,  taking place on 05/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton Messer (19 - 0) who hails from Houston, USA and Alec Pettigrew(9 - 10 - 2) from San Antonio, USA.  Messer weighed in at 226 pounds and 7 ounces, while Pettigrew weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Rasul, and the three ringside judges are Orlando Merlin, Robert Corfield and James Kinman.
