Hideki Nishikawa vs Hiro Noguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Eiji Shimomura Gym, Yokosuka,  taking place on 30/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hideki Nishikawa (6 - 6 - 3) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Hiro Noguchi(4 - 14(1) - 3) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Nishikawa and Noguchi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Takayama, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Okamura, Ichiro Kita and Hajime Oh.  

Round 1: 

Noguchi lands a left hook.  
Nishikawa gets on the inside.  Nishikawa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nishikawa tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nishikawa lands a right hook.  
Noguchi is on target with a right hook.

Noguchi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nishikawa connects with an overhand left.

Noguchi backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Nishikawa steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Nishikawa hits home with a right hook.
