Rashid Bashara vs Faisal Kateb

Boxing Daily Report from the Douna Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Azimi, Jeddah,  taking place on 31/01/2027:

Clearly Douna Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia-West Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Bashara (11 - 8(1) - 7) who hails from Mecca, Saudi Arabia and Faisal Kateb(8 - 11 - 2) from Medina, Saudi Arabia.  Bashara weighed in at 122 pounds and 8 ounces, while Kateb weighed in at 122 pounds.    As Bashara came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.
