Boxing Daily Report from the Adisi Promotions promoted show at Mandla Keet Gym, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 28/02/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Swanepoel (12 - 11(1) - 3) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Claude Van der Merwe(7(1) - 0 - 1) from Mitchells Plain, South Africa.  Swanepoel weighed in at 236 pounds and 11 ounces, while Van der Merwe weighed in at 223 pounds and 9 ounces.
