Owen Kasekende vs Penda Katuntu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Xhosas Kiyingi Gym, Gulu,  taking place on 27/02/2027:

Clearly AI Uganda-Northern Region have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Kasekende (9 - 12(1) - 2) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Penda Katuntu(8 - 8 - 5) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Kasekende and Katuntu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Aman, and the three ringside judges are Chiamaka Mugasa, Sid Commins and Majid Aman.  

Round 1: 

Katuntu pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kasekende tries to land a right hook, but Katuntu sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
