Edward Spence vs John Meikle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Nebraska promoted show at Lincoln Sulkowski, Lincoln,  taking place on 27/02/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Spence (5 - 14 - 2) who hails from Omaha, USA and John Meikle(12(2) - 1) from Lincoln, USA.  Both Spence and Meikle weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Huggett, and the three ringside judges are John Murray, James Broadley and Edwyn Kendrick.  

Round 1: 

Meikle hits home with a solid left hook.  
Spence closes the distance.  Meikle connects with a right hook.
