Ian Clarkson vs Cole Prentice

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 02/03/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Illinois have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Clarkson (4 - 3 - 3) who hails from Chicago, USA and Cole Prentice(11 - 6(2) - 5) from Chicago, USA.  Both Clarkson and Prentice weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Gillies, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Neily, Rob Dockter and Alen Valentine.  

Round 1: 

Clarkson steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Clarkson lands a left hook.  
Prentice sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Prentice gets on the inside.  Prentice pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Clarkson tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Clarkson tries to keep the action at long range.  Clarkson contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Prentice throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Clarkson switches the action to the outside.  Prentice connects with a cross.
