Bob Owen vs Michael Merricks

Boxing Daily Report from the Ililonga Promotions promoted show at Madison Hamell, Madison,  taking place on 02/03/2027:

Clearly Ililonga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Owen (15 - 1) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Michael Merricks(4 - 2 - 1) from Milwaukee, USA.  Owen weighed in at 159 pounds and 5 ounces, while Merricks weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid MacLaine, and the three ringside judges are Davie Ugbusien, Rex Applegarth and Lee Griffith.
