David Lawter vs James Givan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Noah Duncan Gym, Cedar Rapids,  taking place on 02/03/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Iowa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Lawter (5 - 13 - 1) who hails from Wichita, USA and James Givan(5 - 10(2) - 3 - 1(NC)) from Davenport, USA.  Both Lawter and Givan weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Caven, and the three ringside judges are Dave Weatherhead, Will Hinshaw and Colin Dickins.  

Round 1: 

Givan manages to force Lawter into the corner.  Givan lands a jab.
