Sam Duncanson vs Rico Busto

Boxing Daily Report from the hard hitting promotions promoted show at Denton Harvey Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 01/03/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Duncanson (3(1) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Rico Busto(0 - 5 - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Duncanson weighed in at 167 pounds and 6 ounces, while Busto weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Bethell, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Greenshields, John Pollick and Brendan Hush.  

Round 1: 

Duncanson advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Busto is looking to keep his distance.  Duncanson lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Duncanson advances into close range.  Duncanson pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.

Busto switches the action to the outside.  Duncanson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm cross.

Duncanson pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Busto quickly recovers. 
Duncanson gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Duncanson ties up his opponent.  Duncanson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Duncanson lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Duncanson hits home with a stinging cross.  
Duncanson closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Duncanson connects with a VICIOUS left hook.  BUSTO IS HURT!  
Duncanson is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Duncanson lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND DROPS BUSTO!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

Duncanson steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Busto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Duncanson lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Busto tries to step out of his opponents range.  Duncanson throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Duncanson lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Duncanson finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Busto steps away from his opponent.  Duncanson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Duncanson hits home with a left hook.  Duncanson holds on to his opponent.  Duncanson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Duncanson to stop fouling.  
Duncanson closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Duncanson hits home with a firm right hook.  
Duncanson lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Busto is on target with a left uppercut.  
Duncanson lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Duncanson lands a sharp cross.  
Duncanson closes the distance.  Duncanson DETONATES a spiteful left hook on his opponents face.  BUSTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  As Duncanson tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Busto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Busto now seems to have his senses back.  
Duncanson is looking to close the distance and lands a solid left hook.  
Duncanson connects with a left hook.  Duncanson holds on to his opponent.  Duncanson pushes his forearm into Busto's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Duncanson.  
Duncanson lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Busto now seems to have got his legs back.  
Duncanson steps inside.  Duncanson lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Duncanson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Duncanson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS BUSTO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Busto's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Duncanson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Busto's kidney. The ref breaks Duncanson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Duncanson lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Duncanson lands a FIERCE right hook.  BUSTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Busto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Duncanson walks Busto into the corner.  Duncanson throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Duncanson ties up his opponent.  Duncanson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Duncanson is on target with a right hook.  
Duncanson lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Duncanson drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Busto tries to land a left hook, but Duncanson sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Duncanson walks Busto onto the ropes.  Duncanson lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Busto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Duncanson is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Duncanson lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Duncanson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Busto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Duncanson cuts off the ring, trapping Busto in the corner.  Duncanson lands a hurtful right hook.  BUSTO IS HURT!  
Duncanson sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Duncanson lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS BUSTO TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Duncanson!
